Chloe Criswell
Assistant Project Manager
Chloe Criswell graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in bioengineering and found herself looking for positions in the environmental field. After she completed an 11-month AmeriCorps fellowship in environmental education and watershed design, she found Transcon Environmental (now known as our environmental division) and started doing hazardous soil assessments on short cycle distributions for a large utility company in 2019.
No stranger to the outdoors, one of her biggest hobbies is spending time and recreating in the outdoors, so it was a natural fit for Chloe to pursue a career in the environmental field.
“The team of people we have has continued to excite me,” says Chloe. “I work with good people who share similar values to me and care about what they do. Working with such a great group of people has made me feel more comfortable taking on new roles and bringing my best each day.”
Chloe’s manager says that “Chloe has been instrumental in keeping our region’s high-volume work organized and on track. One of her many duties is maintaining our main work order tracker, which is our one-stop-shop for the status of each individual assignment the team receives. Chloe applies her skills to bring order to the chaos of a very busy project with quick turnaround times.”
Since joining the company in 2019, Chloe has taken on no shortage of roles. Everything from hazardous soil assessments, environmental field specialist, biology coordinator, and project coordinator to project manager, Chloe has worked on several projects spanning several states with the opportunity to help a variety of areas of the company.
“I’ve taken on new roles with our client because of the trusted relationships I’ve been able to build internally and externally during my time here,” says Chloe. “Outside of this, I’ve been able to support our technology and innovation division on different initiatives integrating automation and efficiencies to daily workflows.”
Chloe’s favorite part of her job is getting to talk to and learn from so many people. “I like being involved at multiple phases of a project for the different teams you interact with, and the challenges and rewards they bring. It excites me to have a big-picture view of a project and what it is accomplishing for the team, client or public.”
