Eli Coniglio
Regional Supervisor
Eli Coniglio started his career as an undergraduate in Vermont where he worked in design and construction while completing a bachelor’s degree in horticulture. After moving to the Seattle area, he took a position managing the construction and arbor services division for a commercial contractor where he worked on the design, construction, and management of municipal and institutional properties throughout Puget Sound. A few years later, he went back to school to obtain a master’s in urban and regional planning at the University of Colorado Denver while working for a Denver-based landscape architecture and planning firm. During that time, Eli was involved in the planning, design and construction of communities and public spaces throughout the Western states, gaining an appreciation and understanding for large complex projects.
“While working in planning and development, I realized an interest in working for an organization that is focused on supporting the transition to a more sustainable future,” says Eli. “After spending a short time with a real estate private equity firm, I sought out a company that aligned with my values and played an active role in energy and utility infrastructure development. The rest is history.”
Eli has always had a desire to be part of the solution and an interest in learning more about the “how”. While he feels that forward progress in this industry can sometimes be encumbered by bureaucratic process and opposing interests, he knows these challenges are inherent to being stewards of the natural environment in the modern world. In his words, “Keep it moving. Always be looking for the right person to talk to or the next path forward, and don’t forget – keep it moving.”
Eli joined the company in early 2023 and was excited to be part of a organization that offered the opportunity to play an active role in progressing some of the most influential energy infrastructure projects of our generation. “Every day I have the opportunity to learn. Working alongside subject matter experts in this organization has given me perspective and understanding of the environment we live in and the projects we support to an extent I could not have achieved on my own. To be part of an organization that has the reputation we have with our clients is truly rewarding.”
When asked what he’s excited about, his response: “I’m excited to continue being an integral partner in the transition to a more resilient human condition; one that incorporates an understanding of our needs as a civilization and considers the preservation of habitats and environments critical to all of our fellow inhabitants.”
