Meet Molly Janis

Molly Janis

Director of Client Project Management

As director of client project management at Eocene Environmental Group, Molly Janis brings a deep passion for sustainability and food systems to her work. She was drawn to Eocene by the meaningful impact of the work and the collaborative, mission-driven culture of the people behind it.

Molly’s path into the industry began in an unexpected way. Upon completing her degree in political science, Molly’s first job out of college was at an energy and climate change policy think tank. It was there that she quickly became fascinated with climate change and its impact on business. Wanting to better understand the science behind climate change, she went on to earn a master’s degree in climate and energy sustainability.

After graduate school, Molly moved to San Francisco to work as a corporate sustainability consultant, a role that eventually led her to Annie’s, makers of organic snacks and mac and cheese. Today, she is especially excited by work that brings transparency to environmental impacts at the farm and producer level, believing that better measurement across the food supply chain leads to better outcomes. Molly shared, “I am passionate about managing teams and clients, learning what makes people tick, and creating environments where meaningful work and enjoyment go hand in hand.”

A fun fact about Molly: She lived in Chile and is fluent in Spanish.
