Christy Holmes
Senior Vice President, Environmental
Senior Vice President Christy Holmes joined the Transcon Environmental team, our now environmental division, in 2010. Christy has worn many hats over the years, including senior biologist, project manager, program manager and client manager. While she will always have a love of biology, she feels like she found her calling in mentoring and leadership.
Christy is a northern California native. While attending Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, she realized she could make a career of her love of being outside. After earning a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and prior to starting her career in environmental consulting, she held a succession of field biologist jobs. Notably, she worked monitoring endangered birds and eradicating their predators in Maui, small mammal trapping throughout northern California, shorebird mist-netting off the coast of Oregon and years of shorebird monitoring along California’s central coast for state and federal agencies as well as private entities.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, DIY home projects and coaching girls U12 soccer and lacrosse.
