Doug McCorkle, Ph.D.
Vice President of Science & Technology
Doug McCorkle joined Sustainable Environmental Consultants, now our sustainability division, in 2018 and now serves as Eocene Environmental Group’s vice president of science and technology. Doug drives technology initiatives within the sustainability division, balancing short-term and long-term goals, and he develops key solutions utilizing the EcoPractices® platform. He collaborates with the sustainability sales and customer support teams to prioritize new product development opportunities and current product enhancements, as well as oversees the evolution of the existing software system applications and architecture.
Prior to joining our team, Doug worked in the ag-tech sector for EFC Systems, Inc. and AgSolver, Inc. to help lead technology and data initiatives. He also has research experience with the U.S. Department of Energy Ames Laboratory in Ames, Iowa. Doug received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He achieved his master’s and doctorate degrees in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University. Outside of work, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, swimming and enjoying the great Iowa outdoors.
