Mike Fisher

Director of Environmental

Mike Fisher joined Impact7G, now Eocene’s environmental division, in 2013 and currently serves as a director. Early in his career, Mike spent five years consulting in the Department of Defense (DOD) sector, holding a secret clearance and analyzing the environmental and socioeconomic impacts of proposed DoD actions and programs. After his time in the DoD sector, he launched his own consulting business, which led to a role at an engineering firm in Iowa, where he became their environmental and clean energy services leader. Mike’s diverse experience ultimately brought him to Impact7G, and he now helps Eocene clients improve their environment through a wide range of services.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies with an emphasis on environmental impact assessment from the University of Kansas. He was honored as a recipient of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) partnership award for his work in advancing their piloted national brownfields initiative. His efforts helped transform it into an annually funded program that continues to serve as a vital environmental and economic redevelopment tool for communities addressing legacy environmental hazards from 20th century industrialization.

In his free time, you can find Mike hiking, fishing, backpacking, taking wildlife photos and spending time with his family.
