WEST DES MOINES, IA (JULY 8, 2025) – Eocene Environmental Group announces Keith Tucker will join the leadership team as president. This leadership addition is part of a succession plan as Chief Strategy Officer and President Derek Vannice approaches his retirement effective September 30, 2025, after 14 years with the company.
Vannice joined CNUC, now Eocene’s forestry and utility division, in 2011 after decades of success at two industry-leading organizations. Over the past 14 years, he has driven significant advancements in environmental stewardship and played a pivotal role in the launch of Eocene.
“As I turn the page and start a new chapter, I am excited to see what Keith will bring to Eocene,” Vannice said. “His experience and knowledge will provide additional strength to an already outstanding management team. I am confident Eocene will continue to grow and prosper under his leadership.”
Keith Tucker will serve in the same role as Vannice, providing executive leadership and driving operational execution to achieve revenue, margin and financial goals. Tucker brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the engineering and environmental consulting industry, with a strong record of driving transformational growth and operational excellence across both global enterprises and small businesses.
