NV Energy, in partnership with Eocene Environmental Group, deployed FieldNote software in 2023. NV Energy serves nearly 1.3 million customers and more than 50 million tourists annually throughout northern and southern Nevada, including the communities of Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Reno-Sparks, Henderson and Elko.
FieldNote, a software preferred by vegetation management professionals, was selected and brought on by NV Energy to help oversee the vegetation management program. With an emphasis on usability and user experience, FieldNote captures locations, tracks assets, builds inspections and audits, and tracks crew completions and productivity.
Eocene’s technology and innovation division provided onsite training to NV Energy staff and contractors prior to software deployment, with custom training to fit their needs.
Eocene has helped NV Energy and their contractors collect data on 45,703 miles of service territory, with 56 licenses deployed on the property. On average, Eocene collects over 150 data points each month for NV Energy, giving them information to assist their operations and continue improving their program.
